Marel needed a centralized way to manage business document templates and brand elements that were being used throughout the organization. This became especially clear in 2016, when the company decided to re-align its brand across all parts of the organization to consolidate them under one name. The project required creating new document and presentation templates, and digital assets, to ensure that employees could use the new branding consistently. But, as Marel\u2019s Digital Marketing Manager, Bj\u00f6rgvin Brynj\u00f3lfsson, elaborates: \u201cWe had no central way to distribute up-to-date document and presentation templates, or brand elements.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With no way to consistently work with, or find, document templates, employees relied on intranet pages and local file drives containing various versions of the documents. This led to inconsistencies in documents and presentations that were sent to external parties, and staff wasted time finding and downloading old material to re-use for new projects. As a tech innovator, Marel knew that they needed a solution to help keep their own business processes ahead of the digital curve.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
